It’s Time To Shift The Limiting Beliefs That Are Holding You Back
You know the belief isn’t true.
So why does some part of you still believe it?
You’ve talked about it. Journaled about it. Challenged it with affirmations. Maybe you’ve worked on it in therapy, coaching, meditation—or all of the above.
You might even understand where the belief came from. You can recognize when it’s showing up. You may even have some of evidence that it isn’t true.
And yet...
Some part of you still believes it.
I’m not good enough.
People don’t really want me.
I’ll never be as successful as I want to be.
I’m too much.
People don’t see what I have to offer.
I’m not someone people choose.
At some point, trying harder to convince yourself that the belief isn’t true may not be what you need.
What if, instead of talking about the belief again, we worked with the energy of the belief itself?
And what might change—not only in how you feel and what you believe about yourself, but in what begins showing up in your life?
That’s what we explore through Energy Weaving.
So…what exactly is Energy Weaving?
Fair question. Until fairly recently, I didn’t know what it was either.
Energy Weaving is an intuitive form of energy work. In these sessions, rather than continuing to analyze or challenge a limiting belief, I work directly with the energy of the belief itself.
We’ll start by getting really clear about the belief you want to work with—usually boiling it down to one or two sentences.
Then things get a little weird. (In a really cool way.) Let me lay it out for you:
I write your belief on a piece of paper, fold it up and place it in my lap. I put on meditation music, close my eyes, and allow my hands to move intuitively around the energy of the belief.
Sometimes my fingers move quickly, almost as if they’re finding, pulling and untangling invisible threads. Other times the movements are slower and more fluid. I don’t consciously decide what my hands are going to do or direct where they go. I allow the process to unfold until my hands naturally come to a stop—usually after about 20-25 minutes.
While I’m weaving, I’ll also share what I’m noticing as it comes through—sensations in my body, emotions, thoughts, images, words or intuitive impressions. Sometimes these seem directly connected to the belief. Sometimes something unexpected comes up, including what feels like another layer underneath it.
You may notice things happening for you during the weaving, too—or you may notice absolutely nothing in the moment.
Both are okay.
Why work with the energy of a belief?
Here’s where we venture outside the traditional therapy room.
I’ve spent more than 27 years as a therapist, and I believe deeply in the power of therapy. I also know its limitations.
Sometimes you can understand a belief inside and out. You know where it came from. You recognize how it affects you. You’ve challenged it, processed it and practiced thinking differently.
And it can still feel true.
I believe our deeply held beliefs have an energetic component—and that the energy we carry doesn’t only affect how we feel internally.
From a Law of Attraction perspective, our energy may also influence what we notice, how we show up, what we allow ourselves to receive and what we attract into our lives.
So I’m interested in both.
What changes inside you when the energy around an old belief begins to shift?
And...
What begins to change around you?
Maybe the belief doesn’t have the same emotional charge. Maybe you respond differently when something happens that once would have triggered it. Maybe you feel more trusting, confident or open.
And maybe you begin noticing different opportunities, relationships, responses or experiences showing up in your life.
I can’t promise what will shift—or whether an external change is because of the energy work.
But I can tell you this: the experiences I’ve had so far, both personally and with the people I’ve worked with, have made me incredibly curious about what becomes possible when we stop trying to talk ourselves out of an old belief and begin working with it in an entirely different way.
How Energy Weaving Found Me
I definitely didn’t set out to do this.
My relationship with energy work actually goes back more than a decade.
About 13 years ago, I trained in Reconnective Healing and, around the same time, began exploring mediumship, spiritual connection and working with my Spirit Guides.
Over the years, unusual things would sometimes happen during meditation—rapid eye movements, subtle body movements, swaying. I never tried to make them happen. I simply learned to trust them and allow whatever seemed to be moving through me to move.
Then, within the last year or so, my hands got involved.
During meditation, they began moving on their own in these beautiful, fluid patterns. It felt as though they were working with an invisible field of energy around me. I wasn’t consciously deciding where my hands should go or what they should do.
I had no idea what to call it. I just knew it felt intuitive, energetic and very different from anything I had been taught.
And then came one of those Universe-has-a-sense-of-humor moments.
I happened across a woman online doing something she called Energy Weaving.
I had never heard the term before, but I immediately recognized something in what she was doing. Her movements weren’t exactly like mine, but there were enough similarities that I wanted to know more.
I began exploring her work, eventually had several sessions of my own, and decided to pursue additional training in Energy Weaving.
But somewhere along the way, another idea came to me:
What if I could use this energy work specifically with a belief that I couldn’t seem to shift?
So I tried it.
I wrote my limiting belief on a piece of paper:
“The people I want to connect with don’t want to connect with me.”
That one belief touched a lot for me—friendships, feeling chosen and even attracting the right clients into my therapy practice.
And that became the beginning of an experiment I wasn't expecting.
I began weaving the energy around that belief. Then I tried it again. And again.
Eventually, I asked a few trusted friends if they would let me experiment with beliefs of their own.
And some really interesting shit started happening.
Not everyone felt something immediately. Sometimes nothing seemed to happen at all. Sometimes there were physical or emotional experiences that were unexpected. Sometimes another layer of the belief seemed to emerge.
But we also began noticing changes—in how the beliefs felt, in how we responded when old patterns showed up and, intriguingly, in some of the things that began showing up in our lives.
I’m continuing to explore and train in Energy Weaving, and I don’t pretend to have a scientific explanation for exactly what is happening.
What I do know is that I've experienced enough—and witnessed enough with the people I've worked with—to want to keep exploring it.
And now I’m opening that exploration to others.
The Energy Weaving Experience
One belief. Three weavings. And space to see what shifts.
In my experience so far, deeply held beliefs rarely seem to exist in one neat little package.
There can be layers.
You might work with “I’m not good enough” and experience a shift—only to notice another aspect of the belief showing up afterward. Sometimes what emerges seems connected to an earlier experience, a protective part of you, or even a belief that feels as though it has been carried through your family or lineage.
That’s why I currently offer Energy Weaving as a three-session experience focused on one core limiting belief.
First, we figure out what we’re actually working with.
We’ll start with a 30-minute Zoom conversation to talk about what feels stuck and boil it down to a concise limiting belief—usually one sentence, occasionally two. We’ll also talk about how Energy Weaving works, what you might experience, what I can and can’t promise, and any questions you have before we begin.
Then, I weave.
For each of your three Energy Weaving sessions, you can choose whether you’d like to be with me live on Zoom or have me do the weaving on my own and send you the recording afterward. Either way, you’ll receive the recording.
The weaving itself usually lasts around 25 minutes. As I work, I talk through what I’m noticing—thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, images, words or intuitive impressions—so you can hear what was coming through as it happened.
If you aren't there live, you can watch the recording whenever you have the time and space to really pay attention to what you notice in yourself.
Between weavings, we get curious.
This is an important part of the process.
Rather than constantly checking “Did it work? Did it work? DID IT WORK?”—we pay attention.
How does the belief feel now? What happens when something would normally trigger it? Does the old thought still appear but somehow carry less weight? Are you responding differently? Are different opportunities, interactions or experiences showing up around you? And sometimes...do you just feel a little weird?
You may notice emotional or physical sensations during a weaving, while watching the recording or afterward. You may also notice nothing obvious at all. Neither response tells us definitively what is or isn't happening. We simply notice.
We will stay in touch with each other by email or text text between weavings to share what you're experiencing and anything significant that comes up.
Then we work with the next layer.
Before the next weaving, we'll look at what you've noticed and decide where to focus. Sometimes we continue working with the original belief exactly as it is. Sometimes what has happened since the previous weaving points us toward another layer or a slight shift in the wording.
Then I weave again.
After three weavings, we step back and look at the experience as a whole—not just whether you can declare the belief officially “gone,” but what has changed in how you feel, how you respond, what you believe about yourself and what you're noticing in your life.
Your brain and your parts still matter.
Energy work doesn't mean we pretend psychology suddenly stopped existing.
You'll also receive some simple education around Pain Reprocessing Therapy/neuroplasticity concepts and IFS-informed “parts” work to help make sense of what may happen as you move forward.
An old thought showing up again doesn't necessarily mean you've gone backward. Your brain has practiced certain pathways for a long time, and protective parts of you may continue to notice familiar evidence that supports the old belief. The goal isn't to never have the old thought again. It's to stop automatically believing it when it shows up.
Because lasting change isn't just about what happens during the weaving. It's about what becomes possible when you begin living from something different.
What can happen after energy weaving?
So...what have we actually noticed?
Energy Weaving isn't something I can give you a predictable list of outcomes for—and I don't want to make promises about what you should experience. What I can tell you is what I've experienced myself and what others have noticed as we've worked with the energy of their limiting beliefs.
And some of it has been pretty damn interesting.
My own experiment
The first time I wove the energy of “The people I want to connect with don't want to connect with me,” I noticed...Nothing. No lightning bolt. No dramatic emotional release. I didn't suddenly wake up as a completely different person.
So I did it again.
During the second weaving, something shifted. I felt an intense sense of optimism and a belief that the right people really DO want me.
Shortly afterward, I received a new therapy inquiry from someone referred by a person I'd met only once. Coincidence? Absolutely possible. But I kept paying attention.
After my third weaving, I actually felt worse for a little while. During that session, what came through intuitively seemed connected to this belief being carried through my family or lineage. For about a day afterward, I felt discouraged again.
And then it shifted.
What has been most meaningful isn't actually whether a new client appears every time I weave. It's that when clients pause therapy or decide to leave—something that used to tap directly into this belief—I don't experience it the same way anymore.
Even while dealing with very real financial uncertainty, there's a trust in me that wasn't there before.
Then I started exploring with other people.
One person didn't know when I would be doing her weaving.
During the period I happened to be working with her belief, she unexpectedly became dizzy. The following morning she woke with some unusual anxiety, which resolved within a few hours. And then she noticed something else: hope. Excitement. Optimism.
Around the same time, she began receiving an unusually high number of potential-client inquiries. But once again, the part I find most interesting isn't simply that more people reached out. When someone doesn't respond or turns out not to be a match, she notices herself trusting rather than worrying.
Another person noticed almost nothing after the first weaving.
During the second, intuitive information came through for me around inherited or legacy beliefs. When she later watched the recording and heard me say that, she described her previously fuzzy, unfocused mind suddenly becoming clear. Something about it immediately resonated.
Around this same period, she received a record number of discovery-call requests following a webinar and multiple people joined her coaching program.
Her confidence still went up and down, though.
So we wove again. After the third weaving, she described feeling more solidly confident—and her coaching business has continued to grow.
Is Energy Weaving responsible for all of that?
I can't tell you that. And I don't want to turn every new client, unexpected opportunity or emotional shift into “proof” that Energy Weaving caused it.
But when I see internal shifts happening alongside interesting external ones, I pay attention.
That's part of why I find this work so fascinating.
I believe the energy of our beliefs matters. And from a Law of Attraction perspective, I'm open to the possibility that when that energy changes, what we're attracting and experiencing may begin to change too.
That's what we're exploring: not forcing a particular outcome, but noticing what changes inside you—and getting curious about what starts showing up around you.
Is Energy Weaving For You?
You don't have to believe everything I believe.
You don't need to understand energy work. You don't need to practice manifestation, talk to your spirit guides, or have any idea what the hell I'm talking about when I say “energy weaving.”
But you do need to be curious.
Energy Weaving may be a good fit if there's a belief about yourself or your life that feels stubbornly stuck despite everything you've already done to work on it. Maybe you've talked about it in therapy. Maybe you've coached around it, journaled about it, challenged it, tapped on it, meditated with it or tried to replace it with a more positive belief.
Maybe you understand exactly where it came from.
And yet, some part of you still believes it.
You might be a good fit for this work if you're willing to entertain the possibility that there may be another way to work with what's stuck—one that doesn't require you to analyze it harder or think your way out of it. You don't have to be certain that energy work is “real.”
You just need enough openness to say: “I don't know exactly how this works...but I'm curious to see what happens.”
This probably isn't for you if...
You're looking for a guaranteed outcome or expecting me to energetically make a particular person, amount of money, job or opportunity appear.
Energy Weaving also isn't a replacement for psychotherapy, medical care or mental health treatment. Although I'm a licensed therapist, I am not functioning as your therapist when I provide this service.
We won't be diagnosing or treating mental health conditions, processing trauma as psychotherapy, or establishing a therapist-client relationship. If you're in the middle of a significant emotional or mental health crisis, this isn't the time for Energy Weaving. This work is intended for people who feel generally stable and want to explore a stuck belief—not as a substitute for the mental health support you may need during a crisis.
My background as a therapist absolutely informs how I understand beliefs, patterns, parts and change. But this is not therapy, this is something different.
This is energy work.
Questions You Might Have
-
Description text goThat's completely okay.
Some people notice physical sensations, emotions, thoughts or shifts while the weaving is happening. Some notice something when they watch the recording later. Some don't notice much of anything until they're back in their everyday life and realize they're responding differently.
And sometimes...nothing obvious happens.
There isn't a particular reaction you're supposed to have, and having a dramatic experience doesn't necessarily mean the weaving was more effective.
-
Experiences vary—a lot.
People I've worked with have reported things like physical sensations, dizziness, changes in energy, unexpected emotions, anxiety, headaches, mental clarity, a sense of lightness, optimism or excitement. Others have noticed very little immediately.
Sometimes an experience has been pleasant. Sometimes it's been uncomfortable or simply strange.
I don't interpret every physical or emotional sensation as proof that the weaving is “working,” and I don't want you to either. We notice what's happening without immediately deciding what it means.
If you experience a new, significant or concerning physical or mental health symptom, don't assume it's related to the energy work. Contact an appropriate medical or mental health professional.
-
Nope.
You can join me live on Zoom if you'd like to experience the weaving as it's happening, or I can do it on my own and send you the recording afterward.
So far, many people I've worked with have preferred the recorded option because they can watch when they have the time and space to really tune in.
Either way, you'll receive the recording.
-
No. But you probably need to be at least a little curious about it.
I'm not interested in convincing anyone that energy work is real or that my spiritual beliefs should be yours.
You don't need to understand exactly what's happening—or even be sure that anything is happening.
But if your starting point is “This is bullshit and I'm going to prove it,” I'm probably not your person.
Curious skepticism? Totally welcome.
-
No.
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker and have been a therapist for more than 25 years, so that experience absolutely influences how I understand beliefs, patterns, protective parts and change.
But when you work with me for Energy Weaving, I am not functioning as your therapist and you are not entering into a psychotherapy relationship with me. We will not be discussing your life or history in depth, only enough to clarify the limiting belief you’d like to work on.
Energy Weaving isn't intended to diagnose or treat a mental health condition and isn't a substitute for psychotherapy, medical care or other appropriate professional treatment.
-
Generally, yes.
Energy Weaving is separate from psychotherapy and isn't intended to replace the work you're doing with your therapist.
If you're currently experiencing significant emotional instability or are in a mental health crisis, however, this isn't the time to begin Energy Weaving. Your immediate mental health support needs come first.
-
A lot of our beliefs have roots in painful experiences.
But Energy Weaving isn't trauma treatment, and we're not using these sessions to intentionally process traumatic memories.
We'll focus on the limiting belief itself and what you're noticing around it. If it becomes clear that what is surfacing needs therapeutic support rather than energy work, I'll tell you.
-
Because, so far, I've found that these beliefs often seem to have layers.
You may notice an initial shift and then discover another aspect of the belief underneath it. Or something that happens between weavings may help clarify what we need to work with next.
Three weavings give us room to follow what's emerging rather than expecting one session to accomplish everything.
-
If another layer of the same limiting belief emerges after you've completed your three-weaving experience, additional individual weavings are available for $100 each.
If what you want to work on is an entirely different limiting belief, we'd start a new three-weaving experience so we can give that belief the same attention.
-
No.
I can't promise a particular internal shift, external result or manifestation.
I believe our beliefs have an energetic component and, from a Law of Attraction perspective, that a change in our energy may also influence what we're attracting and experiencing.
But we're not placing an order with the Universe for a particular person, client, dollar amount or outcome.
We do the work, pay attention to what shifts—and stay curious about what happens next.
Ready to see what might shift?
One belief. Three weavings. $375.
You've already thought about this belief.
Maybe you've understood it, challenged it, talked about it, journaled about it, tried to heal it—and gotten really damn tired of the fact that some part of you still believes it.
You don't need to work harder at convincing yourself it's not true.
Maybe it's time to work with it differently.
Your $375 Energy Weaving experience includes:
A private 30-minute Zoom session to clarify the limiting belief we'll be working with
Three Energy Weavings, spaced a few days apart
Your choice of experiencing each weaving live or receiving the recording to watch on your own time
A recording of every weaving
Text support between sessions as you notice what shifts and what emerges
Simple PRT/neuroplasticity and IFS/parts resources to help you navigate old patterns as they show up
The entire experience typically unfolds over about 1–2 weeks.
I can't tell you exactly what will happen.
I can't promise how you'll feel afterward or what might start showing up in your life.
But if you've worked on this belief every way you know how and something still feels stuck, I'm offering you another way to work with it.
Let's see what happens when we work with the energy of the belief itself.
Curious? Let’s chat.
If something about Energy Weaving is making you think, I need to know more about this, send me a message.
Tell me a little about what feels stuck and the limiting belief you think you might want to work with. You don’t need to have the perfect words yet—we can figure that part out together.
I’ll personally review your message and get back to you so we can make sure Energy Weaving feels like a good fit before we move forward.
No pressure. No promises of magic. Just curiosity about what might be possible.
